These terms govern your use of the CartPlate app and website. By using CartPlate, you agree to them.
1.Using CartPlate
You must be at least 13 years old to use CartPlate. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Apple or Google sign-in secure.
2.Your content
You keep ownership of the recipes, edits, photos and notes you add. You give us permission to store and process that content to provide the service to you.
3.Imported recipes and creators
CartPlate saves recipes for your personal use and keeps credit and a link to the original creator. Do not use CartPlate to republish other people’s content without their permission.
4.AI features
AI edits and drafts are generated automatically and can be wrong. Review ingredients, amounts and steps before cooking, especially for allergies and food safety.
5.Nutrition information
Calories and macros are estimates based on matching ingredients to nutrition data. They are not medical or dietary advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your health needs.
6.Retailers
Grocery prices, availability and product matches come from third-party retailers and may change before checkout. Your purchase is between you and the retailer, under their terms.
7.Subscriptions and free trials
CartPlate Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple or Google account. If a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and the subscription renews each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s subscription settings. Deleting your account does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
8.Acceptable use
Do not misuse CartPlate: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful.
9.Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
10.Disclaimers and liability
CartPlate is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11.Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will tell you in the app before they take effect.
